Ecumene.Org is a domain envisioned as a growing cyberhome with unique apartments (websites) to give individuals and organizations representing both diverse religious traditions and interreligious dialogue an opportunity to get to know one another and learn one another's faith language. Every tenant is expected to affirm commitment to loving kindness toward one another and non-human sentient creatures; respect for the personhood of all human beings; awareness of global interdependence; appreciation both of rationality and mystical insight; acceptance of diversity and pluralism; prudent sympathy for the values of secular life; and willingness to dialogue with others.
